Transnet Richards Bay

About the Project

Transnet National Ports Authority appointed Tekoa Consulting Engineers to undertake the Provision of a detailed Port Survey to provide as built drawings for all services within the Port Boundary at the Port of Richards Bay in an editable format. The Portis located 160km North-East of Durban and 465km South of Maputo on the Eastern seaboard of South Africa.

Our Role

The assignment included:

• Provision of a detailed Port  survey;  Topographical, LiDAR, Undergroud Scanning and 3Dimensional Modelling.
• Produce As-Built Drawings in:
  -         PDF & Auto CAD Format.
  -         Cadastral in a shapefile format and Raster images geo-referenced in a tiff format
• Produce 3-D Model of the networks within the Port.
